Indians looked upon themselves differently after 1983 victory: Ranveer Singh

Chennai, Jan 26 (ANI): The first look poster of the upcoming film '83' was unveiled in Chennai on January 25 at a grand event. The event took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Jatin Sarna and Saqib Saleem came in style to attend the event. Former Indian Cricketer Kapil Dev, K Srikanth were also present during the poster launch function. The entire star cast of the film including Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Jatin Sarna and Chirag Patil were also present during the event. Director of the film Kabir Khan also marked his presence during the interactive session. Ranveer Singh is essaying the role of cricket legend Kapil Dev in the movie. Kapil Dev led Indian cricket team to World Cup victory in 1983. While addressing the media, Ranveer Singh said, "A lot of people who I interacted with in the past two years and speaking them about '83' they always echo the same thing that India was never the same after 1983 it was beyond cricket, sport. It changed attitude of the nation and suddenly Indians looked upon themselves differently.
