Hurricane Helen death toll rises to 200

Washington [US], October 4: The death toll from Hurricane "Helen," which swept through several states in the southeastern United States, has risen to at least 200.
"Helen" caused widespread destruction, particularly in North Carolina, where more than half of the victims were reported.
The remaining fatalities occurred across the states of South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia.
